sick day!

So I am totally sick with a cold...Really it is terrible to feel this bad & have 3 sick kids to take care of all day long anyway. They feel bad too, so we are a very crabby bunch - LOOK OUT!

Cody tried spending the night with Mimi & PopPop (Steve's parents), but I got the call at 4am to come over. He had a fever, his ears hurt, & he was going crazy! I took him to the Med Center when they opened & he had double ear infections. The ear that hurt the most started bleeding over night, so we went back to the Med Center Sunday morning. It happened again last night & this morning, so I took him to see our real doctor today....Luckily it isn't too big of a deal. He is already feeling much better than Friday/Saturday. Now the rest of us need to get better, too!

Since crabby Soets aren't too cute, I thought I would post a few pictures from Kortney & Charlie's trip to Build-A-Bear earlier in the month. She has taken each kid on their first birthday there to pick out a special lovey! We are all SO lucky to have Aunt Kortney!!!

Hugs, kisses, & lots of CANDY!

The kids had their Valentine's Day parties at school today. Lots of fun & LOTS of treats! Here are my little Valentines:

Cody's face is sure a lot happier opening Valentines and suckers than it was writing his name over & over!

Cody wanted me to be Oggy's Valentine today - & his, too!

HUGS - Sure I bribed them to hug while I took a picture, but it is still cute to me!!!

Happy Valentine'sDay to you all -

xoxo, K

A blah week -

One day of nice weather, but an otherwise blah week! Hope Spring is near!!!

Charlie loving his MAC-n-CHEESE!

Lindsey sporting her favorite outfit these days - Cinderella heels & big girl underwear! I wish she was actually potty trained, but it has to be a first step, right???

Lindsey at school on Pajama Day last week

Cody working on his Valentines - He does have 2 preschool classes, so that does make for a lot of writing! I am sure the only reason he is cooperating has to do with the promise of candy at the Valentine's Day parties!

words of wisdom from cody @ 4

So today Cody & I went into Lindsey's room to get her up & she sat up smiling and said, ' Hi Cody! I love you." I nudged Cody to say I love you back & here is what I got.... "Mom, evrybody knows you don't just tell a girl I love you just because she says it first." I tried to to him that was true about girls, but not your sister - he wasn't buying it. He went to his room to think about loving his sister today...

Where did he learn about "everybody"???

I'm sure we'll have pictures to post from Pajama Day at school - the kids are SO excited about it!

Sweet Lindsey-

So today I took Lindsey to the doctor while the Steve stayed home with the napping boys. On the way home she picked out some choice dinosaur music & I started singing along...."Mommy, stop singing. It's ruining my day!"

NICE!

At least she was good at the doctor - It was the first time she hasn't screamed the entire time. Three truly has been the magic year for our family & the doctor's office!

Happy Birthday Charlie!!!

We got the Super Bowl Special - 50 Chicken McNuggets - for our little NugNut's birthday lunch - YUM!

Some of the Birthday Boy's presents! (when Cody & Lindsey actually let him play with them!)

Six Soets celebrating!

And then the cake eating begins!

Charlie digging into his birthday cake was the first time I have ever wished we had a video camera. Sure all 3 of the kids were cute on their first birthdays eating cake & frosting, but Charlie out did them & then some! It had to be the highlight of his first year!

The kids vetoed the Super Bowl & lined up their chairs to watch Nemo before bed - What a great day!

Happy Birthday to our baby!
