Super Cody & the Carving Crew

We carved pumpkins today while Charlie was taking a nap. Cody & Lindsey thought hard about what the perfect pumpkin face should look like andI got to scoop out all of the guts, carve them and clean up! What a deal! After baths, we went out to light the candles and show the kids - Cody went into a Super Hero pose-off! It was hysterical!

Cody & I made tons of the cookies that I posted the link to last time. He was such a good helper - It was the first time that it didn't feel like tremendous extra time and work letting him help. He was so proud when he brought a bag of the cookies in to Mrs. Morris yesterday - FUN!

I have laundry to do, lunches to pack, food to make for neighborhood Bunco at my house tomorrow night, and yet here I sit - laughing at these JibJab videos! SMost of my goodies have been made, sleep is over rated, and I will ALWAYS have laundry to do!!!

Girls Day!

Yesterday was Lindsey's much needed Girls Day! We went out to lunch at our favorite chips & cheese spot with Aunt Kortney, Gigi, & NO BOYS! After that we did what all girls like to do - SHOP! She picked out a pink foam cowgirl hat, red glitter shoes, & a Slurpee! It was lots of fun and I am so glad that I get to spend these one on one days with each of my kids!

Cleveland ROCKS!

It must be the gray rainy days that are getting to me - I am so tired out! As a result, I never seem to post anything new...

Last weekend we were lucky enough to get away for the weekend with our friends Chris & Amber. My mom watched the kids and we made our way to Cleveland. Amber had Browns tickets and we were all ready for a little night away! We had a ton of fun out on the town Saturday night and then hit the game on Sunday. It was a fun way to celebrate our anniversay!

Thanks again to Amber & Chris - great friends and a great weekend!
