Tonight marks our first week with Charlie & he is doing great! We had a few rough nights in the very begining, but it looks like we've got the sleep thing down now. That alone has made such a difference in how I'm doing! A few extra hours of sleep makes taking care of big brother & sister a whole lot easier!
The kids have had a fun snow week home with Charlie and Mom. Aunt Kortney has been a TREMENDOUS help with them for the last few weeks, too. I am totally spoiled by her! Cody thinks Charlie is a little rock star - he is totally into helping me with him and sitting by him, playing peek-a-boo, etc. Lindsey is just warming up to him today. At the hospital and our first few days home she acted like he was invisible! Now he is a little bit novel, but only when she's in the mood for him...Such big girl drama!
So, we made it through the first week without anything too note-worthy to report. Thanks to everyone for your calls, emails, and cards. Now that I have my feet under me again I will start back on my nornally social path and pick up calls, return them, and keep everyone updated with things- I'm off to nurse again!

Not too shocking, but we have been pretty busy, so the Valentine's Day pictures are a bit behind! Charlie is 3 weeks old today and doing great! He's gaining weight and becoming more and more alert everyday. He's getting those chubby cheeks that Cody & Lindsey had and looks just like they did at this stage. Maybe I will get around to posting comparison pictures of them soon. Valentine's Day was especially fun for Cody. He keeps making Valentines for all of us and asking for more candy hearts- YUM! I'll post more baby pics this weekend! I'm off to pick up our preschooler....Kristen
