preschool update

So I have been really bad about updating everyone on how school is going! Lindsey is officially a preschool drop out for now! She had a huge class & the teachers seemed a bit stretched by all of those kids. She is sticking around with Mom & Charlie & she doesn't seem to mind not going to school too much. We might try it again in January, but it is also nice having a little more Mom & Lindsey time (most days at least!)



Cody is busy in school everyday & LOVING it! So that is great of course, but the dreaded back to school cold bug has hit our house! So far everyone, but Steve has gotten cruddy colds...

Lindsey's First (& possibly last) Day of Miss Gloria's

She was SO excited for the past few weeks about Miss Gloria, school, new school friends, etc. She even did well during the orientation last week. Today was a whole different story! She couldn't wait to get into her classroom & then I tried to leave....SOBBING started & they called me 40 min. later.

I tried to calm her down & sneak back out, but it wasn't in the cards. So Charlie & I got to hang around for class. The fun part was that I really got to see all of the kids - tons of adorable girls, and I got to see how patient the teachers were. God Bless preschool teachers!!!

We'll see how the week goes -

Lots of school will keep us pretty busy, but Cody has really been thriving & enjoying both his "old School" & his "gym school" - So we'll give this a try! Yeah for school!!!

School Bus!!!

The school bus stop is across the street from our house. Last year I somehow managed to have both Cody & Lindsey sleeping most mornings when the bus came by for the little kids. This year I think we might be watching the bus...



We weren't the only ones taking pictures of the first day of school, but we probably were the only taking them withouth sending anyone away on the bus!




Cody was SO interested. As he waited he kept making his look out spot more & more comfy. He also cheered when the bus turned the corner, when the kids got on, and as they drove off! The other parents were cracking up.

Charlie - seven months @ 7 am

Seven months old & thanks to Cody waking Charlie up early this morning so "the boys could play" we took these pictures by 7am this morning....Cody was also a bit jealous of Charlie being the focus of the early morning photo shoot so he is in quite a few of them too!
