the Class of 2023 - how crazy does that sound??? I went to Kindergarten Round-Up tonight for Cody & came home a crazy lady (slightly crazier than usual)! He will be going into the Young 5's class, but it still feels crazy to me that he is old enough to ride a bus, check books out of the library, find his classroom, etc. His school is beautiful. His teacher seemed wonderful - It just feels so grown up to me!!!
Now I'm off to freak out about it all while I work on Lindsey's Hello Kitty birthday cake - She will be 3 in the morning!

Our sunny day at the ZOO!
We tried to soak up all of the sun & 60-70 degree weather we could this week! Kortney & I took the kids to the zoo after we picked Cody up from school. The kids had so much fun running wild through the zoo & checking out the fish & snakes. The hard part was tyring to explain to Cody that we would not be seeing any hippos or elephants in GR...

Totally awesome 80's Prom
My friend, Jaime & I got all 80's & hit the B.O.B. for the 80's Prom Friday night. It was a ton of fun - Thought you would all enjoy a peak at our style! I'll blog more about it later - the kids are dying to run around in the yard...

an apple a day might be some good advice for us!
All four of us had to go to Dr. Bolan's today! I was a little nervous about how that might go, so I asked Gigi to come along as a handler just to be safe! It went pretty well - Only 1/6 ears had any issues, unlike 5/6 two weeks ago. The kids got a lot of practice taking temps, measuring their heads, checking blood pressure, & saying, "Ahhh!"

Is it spring yet???
We are very ready for Spring...I am sure everyone else is feeling that way, too! As we just got done enjoying a sunny day in the high 50s/low 60s, I see that more 20 degree days with snow are in our near future - YUCK! The kids & I had some fun with some Spring apparel today. Think SPRING!

Interview with Cody, age 4.5
One of my friends did these kids interviews on her Facebook page & I had to give it a try. I posted it on my Facebook page, but I wanted to share it with all of you too. Some of Cody's answers were great - a few were directly from whatever book or show we just watched, but all in all, it was fun to see what he had to say!
